CURRENT
— an electric tether between women, land, season and self; an exhibition of renewal, intuition and belonging.
AMY LEEWORTHY, ASTRID SALOMON, BRITT NEECH
BRONWYN KIDD, KATE SARTORI, LEYLA BULMER
Lander—Se presents CURRENT — our spring-launch exhibition featuring the works of six female Mornington Peninsula–based artists: Amy Leeworthy, Astrid Salomon, Britt Neech, Bronwyn Kidd, Kate Sartori and Leyla Bulmer.
As spring stirs the Peninsula into bloom, CURRENT gathers six distinct voices whose practices orbit the spirit of landscape in varied material, emotional and conceptual form. The exhibition unfolds as an electric dialogue between land and self, interpreted through ceramic, painting, lens, jewels and gesture. Together, these works form a polyphonic expression—a visual story —that speaks to the deep and layered interdependence of women and land, environment and imagination. Grounded in intuition and ritual, the works survey the strata of time, season, belonging, womanhood and nurture.
