EXHIBITION SUBMISSIONS
Lander—Se is an artist-run gallery and creative destination located on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
Set within a vernacular barn on 2.5 acres of land, Lander—Se presents a contemporary, spiritual portrait of Australian Landscape through exhibitions, seasonal programs and creative gatherings. Our program centres artists whose practices engage with landscape and environment — materially, conceptually, spiritually or intuitively.
We present fewer, longer exhibitions, allowing time for considered viewing, meaningful dialogue and deeper engagement with both collectors and audiences.
Exhibition Program
Lander—Se operates on a seasonal exhibition rhythm, with exhibitions typically running 6–8 weeks throughout Spring, Summer and Autumn.
We present:
Solo exhibitions
Duo / Trio exhibitions
Quartet exhibitions
Group exhibitions
Seasonal Open Call Group Exhibitions
Online Stockroom presentations
Please note we do book our exhibitions months in advance and exhibitions are primarily by invitation; however, artist submissions are welcome where practices align with our curatorial direction.
Exhibition Fees
As an artist-run gallery, Lander—Se operates with artworks on consignment and a dual model of exhibition participation fees and commission on sales.
The gallery takes 30% +gst commission on all sold works. Exhibition fees vary depending on exhibition format, scale and duration. As a guide, exhibition fees typically range from $3,200—$8,000 per exhibition, shared between artists where applicable.
This structure supports sustainable, well-resourced exhibitions and protects both artists and the gallery. Exhibition fees contribute directly to professional presentation, documentation, marketing and press opportunities.
Inclusions
Each exhibition presented by Lander—Se is professionally resourced and supported. Exhibition participation includes:
Curatorial guidance and exhibition planning
Professional installation and de-installation
Digital exhibition catalogue and online pre-sales campaign
Professional catalogue photography and installation documentation
EDM promotion to our collector mailing list, social media promotion, and press outreach

Our longer exhibition durations allow for deeper storytelling, extended exposure, and sustained engagement.
Gallery Space
Lander—Se comprises two interconnected exhibition spaces: the Main Gallery and an optional Back-Room Gallery, used together or independently depending on the scale and nature of each exhibition. Both spaces feature professional track lighting.

Submissions
We focus on presenting artists whose practices engage with landscape and environment — materially, conceptually, spiritually or intuitively. We value thoughtful, resolved bodies of work and artists who actively engage with the gallery community and support their peers.
If this resonates with your practice and you would like to be considered for an exhibition at Lander—Se, please email: art@landerse.au with a brief introduction to your practice, your location, artist statement and cv, along with a short paragraph regarding the body of work you hope to exhibit or the themes you’re exploring. Include a dropbox link with up to 10 recent works, links to your website + social media.
Selected artists will be invited to review our full Artist Exhibition Kit and exhibition agreement outlining artist and gallery's rights and responsibilities. Final programming decisions are made at the gallery’s discretion.
