Lander—Se presents EMBER — our end of season group exhibition gathering emerging and early-career artists whose works radiate with the vivid pulse of the Australian landscape: a terrain of contrasts, memory, and renewal. Here, the horizon hums with colour; the land flickers between heat and haze, dream and decay.

As summer approaches, EMBER imagines the landscape not only as subject, but as spirit—a living ember that smoulders within us all. Through pigment, form, and gesture, each artist rekindles their connection to place, translating its quiet intensity into saturated visions of beauty, endurance, and transformation.

This exhibition traces the fine line between burning and blooming, between destruction and regeneration—an ode to the cyclical nature of the land, and the luminous, unyielding energy that continues to rise from the ashes.
